intersil HS-3282 Manual

The HS-3282 is a high performance CMOS bus interface circuit that is intended to meet the requirements of ARINC Specification 429, and similar encoded, time multiplexed serial data protocols. This device is intended to be used with the HS-3182, a monolithic Dl bipolar differential line driver designed to meet the specifications of ARINC 429. The ARINC 429 bus interface circuit consists of two (2) receivers and a transmitter operating independently. The two receivers operate at a frequency that is ten (10) times the receiver data rate, which can be the same or different from the transmitter data rate. Although the two receivers operate at the same frequency, they are functionally independent and each receives serial data asynchronously. The transmitter section of the ARINC bus interface circuit consists mainly of a First-In First-Out (FIFO) memory and timing circuit.

intersil HD-15530 Manual

The HD-15530 is a high performance CMOS device from Intersil that is intended to service the requirements of MIL-STD-1553 and similar Manchester II encoded, time division multiplexed serial data protocols. This LSI chip is divided into two sections, an Encoder and a Decoder. These sections operate completely independent of each other, except for the Master Reset functions. This circuit meets many of the requirements of MIL-STD- 1553. The Encoder produces the sync pulse and the parity bit as well as the encoding of the data bits. The Decoder recognizes the sync pulse and identifies it as well as decod- ing the data bits and checking parity. This integrated circuit is fully guaranteed to support the 1MHz data rate of MlL-STD-1553 over both temperature and voltage. It interfaces with CMOS, TTL or N channel support circuitry, and uses a standard 5V supply. The HD-15530 can also be used in many party line digital data communications applications, such as an environmen- tal control system driven from a single twisted pair cable of fiber optic cable throughout the building.

intersil HI-546 HI-547 HI-548 HI-549 Data Sheet

The HI-546, HI-547, HI-548, and HI-549 are analog multiplexers with active overvoltage protection and guaranteed rON matching. These devices allow analog input levels to greatly exceed the power supply voltage without damaging the device or disturbing the signal path of other channels. Active protection circuitry ensures that signal fidelity is maintained even under fault conditions that would destroy other multiplexers. Analog inputs can withstand constant 70VP-P levels even with ±15V supplies. Digital inputs can also sustain continuous faults up to 4V greater than either supply. In addition, signal sources are protected from short circuiting in the event of multiplexer supply loss, with each input presenting 1kΩ of resistance under this condition. These features make the HI-546, HI-547, HI-548, and HI-549 ideal for use in systems where the analog inputs originate from external equipment or separately powered circuitry. All devices are fabricated with 44V Dielectrically Isolated CMOS technology. The HI-546 is a single 16-Channel, the HI-547 is an 8-Channel differential, the HI-548 is a single 8-Channel, and the HI-549 is a 4-Channel differential device. If input overvoltage protection is not needed, the HI-506/507/508/509 multiplexers are recommended. For further information, see Application Notes AN520 and AN521. For MIL-STD-883 compliant parts, request the HI-546/883.
