Intel 80C186EB and 80C188EB are 16-bit high-integration embedded processors. They feature full static operation, true CMOS inputs and outputs, low-power static CPU core, two independent UARTs, two 8-bit multiplexed I/O ports, a programmable interrupt controller, three programmable 16-bit timers/counters, a clock generator, ten programmable chip selects, an integral wait-state generator, a memory refresh control unit, system level testing support (ONCE Mode), and direct addressing capability to 1Mbyte memory and 64Kbyte I/O.
