The X4283/85 is a low-power CPU supervisor from Intersil that features 4 selectable watchdog timers, low voltage detection and reset assertion, and 128K bits of EEPROM. It supports 64-byte page write mode, self-timed write cycle, 5ms write cycle time (typical), and built-in inadvertent write protection. It also supports programmable Block Lock protection for 0, 1/4, 1/2, all or 64, 128, 256 or 512 bytes of the EEPROM array. HIN202, HIN206, HIN207, HIN208, HIN211, HIN213 are a family of RS-232 transmitters/receivers interface circuits that are powered by a single +5V power supply and meet all EIA RS-232E and V.28 specifications. They are particularly suited for applications where ±12V is not available. The family of devices offers a wide variety of RS-232 transmitter/receiver combinations to accommodate various applications (see Selection Table). The HIN206, HIN211 and HIN213 feature a low power shutdown mode to conserve energy in battery powered applications. In addition, the HIN213 provides two active receivers in shutdown mode allowing for easy “wakeup” capability. The drivers feature true TTL/CMOS input compatibility, slew rate-limited output, and 300Ω power-off source impedance. The receivers can handle up to ±30V input, and have a 3kΩ to 7kΩ input impedance. The receivers also feature hysteresis to greatly improve noise rejection. The HIP6521 provides the power control and protection for four output voltages in high-performance microprocessor and computer applications. The IC integrates a voltage-mode PWM controller and three linear controllers, as well as monitoring and protection functions. The PWM controller is intended to regulate the microprocessor memory core voltage with a synchronous-rectified buck converter. The linear controllers are intended to regulate the computer system’s AGP 1.5V bus power, the 2.5V clock power, and the 1.8V power for the North/South Bridge core voltage and/or cache memory circuits. Both the switching regulator and linear voltage references provide ±2% of static regulation over line, load, and temperature ranges. All outputs are user-adjustable by means of an external resistor divider. All linear controllers employ bipolar NPNs for the pass transistors. The HIP6521 monitors all the output voltages. The PWM controller’s adjustable overcurrent function monitors the output current by using the voltage drop across the upper MOSFET’s rDS(ON). The linear regulator outputs are monitored via the FB pins for undervoltage events.

The EL5192 and EL5192A are current feedback amplifiers with a very high bandwidth of 600MHz. This makes these amplifiers ideal for today’s high speed video and monitor applications. With a supply current of just 6mA and the ability to run from a single supply voltage from 5V to 10V, the amplifiers are also ideal for hand held, portable or battery-powered equipment. The EL5192A also incorporates an enable and disable function to reduce the supply current to 100µA typical per amplifier. Allowing the CE pin to float or applying a low logic level will enable the amplifier. The EL5192 is offered in the 5-pin SOT-23 package and the EL5192A is available in the 6-pin SOT-23 as well as the industry-standard 8-pin SO packages. Both operate over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

ISL1557 is a dual operational amplifier designed by Intersil for VDSL2 and ADSL line driving in DMT based solutions. This device features a high drive capability of 750mA while consuming only 6mA of supply current per amplifier and operating from a single 4.5V to 12V supply. The driver achieves a typical distortion of -80dBc, at 150kHz into a 25Ω load. The ISL1557 is available in the thermally-enhanced 16 Ld QFN package and is specified for operation over the full -40°C to +85°C temperature range. The ISL1557 has control pins C0 and C1 for controlling the bias and enable/disable of the outputs. These controls allow for lowering the power to fit the performance/power ratio for the application. The ISL1557 is ideal for ADSL2+, SDSL, HDSL2 and VDSL line driving applications, including both 14.5dBm and 21dBm applications.
