Bay Linear LM2931 100mA Low Dropout Voltage Regulator

Update: 30 September, 2023

The LM2931 is a low-power voltage regulator designed by Bay Linear. It has a low quiescent current (100 µA typical) and low dropout (only 60 mV at light loads and 300 mV (typical) at 100mA). The LM2931 has tight initial tolerance (0.5% typical), extremely good load and line regulation (0.05% typical) and very low output temperature coefficient. The LM2931 is available in SOT-89, TO-92 and 8-SOIC packages, and can be used as a fixed voltage regulator or an adjustable voltage regulator. The LM2931 in an 8-SOIC package has an adjustable output voltage from 3V to 24V, programmed with a pair of external resistors. The logic compatible shutdown feature allows the regulator to be turned on or off.
