MAXIM DS4510 Manual

The DS4510 is a CPU Supervisor chip from Maxim Integrated, which integrates 64 bytes of EEPROM memory and four programmable, non-volatile (NV) I/O pins. It is configured with an industry-standard I2C interface that supports either fast-mode (400kbps) or standard-mode (100kbps) communication. The I/O pins can be used as general-purpose I2C-to-parallel I/O expander with unlimited read/write capability. EEPROM registers allow the power-on value of the I/O pins to be adjusted to keep track of the system's state through power cycles, and the CPU supervisor's timer can be adjusted between 125ms and 1000ms to meet most any application need.

MAXIM DS1848 Dual Temperature-Controlled NV Variable Resistor Memory Manual

ds1848 is a dual temperature controlled nonvolatile variable resistor launched by texas instruments. the device consists of two 256-position linear variable resistors, respectively 10kΩ and 50kΩ. it can compensate for bias voltage and current in control applications with the minimum amount of circuitry. ds1848's variable resistor settings are stored in eeprom memory and can be accessed over the industry standard 2-wire serial bus. the value of each variable resistor is determined by a temperature-addressed look-up table, which can assign a unique value to each resistor for every 2°c increase over the -40°c to +95°c range. the output of the digital temperature sensor is also available as a 13-bit, 2's complement format.

MAXIM MAX7219/MAX7221 Guide

The MAX7219/MAX7221 are compact, serial input/output common-cathode display drivers that interface microprocessors (µPs) to 7-segment numeric LED displays of up to 8 digits, bar-graph displays, or 64 individual LEDs. Included on-chip are a BCD code-B decoder, multiplex scan circuitry, segment and digit drivers, and an 8x8 static RAM that stores each digit. Only one external resistor is required to set the segment current for all LEDs. The MAX7221 is compatible with SPI™, QSPI™, and MICROWIRE™, and has slew-rate-limited segment drivers to reduce EMI. A convenient 4-wire serial interface connects to all common µPs. Individual digits may be addressed and updated without rewriting the entire display. The MAX7219/MAX7221 also allow the user to select code-B decoding or no-decode for each digit. The devices include a 150µA low-power shutdown mode, analog and digital brightness control, a scan-limit register that allows the user to display from 1 to 8 digits, and a test mode that forces all LEDs on. For applications requiring 3V operation or segment blinking, refer to the MAX6951 data sheet.

MAXIM MAX7500 MAX7504 Manual

The MAX7500-MAX7504 are temperature sensors produced by TI company. They use a high-resolution sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter to accurately measure temperature and provide an overtemperature alarm/interrupt/shutdown output. Communication is through an I2C-compatible 2-wire serial interface. The MAX7500/MAX7501/MAX7502 integrate a timeout feature that offers protection against I2C bus lockups. The MAX7503/MAX7504 do not include the timeout feature. The 2-wire serial interface accepts standard write byte, read byte, send byte, and receive byte commands to read the temperature data and configure the behavior of the open-drain overtemperature shutdown output. The MAX7500 features three address select lines, while the MAX7501-MAX7504 feature two address select lines and a RESET input. The MAX7500/MAX7501/MAX7502s' 3.0V to 5.5V supply voltage range, low 250µA supply current, and a lockup-protected I2C-compatible interface make them ideal for a wide range of applications, including personal computers (PCs), electronic test equipment, and office electronics. The MAX7500-MAX7504 are available in 8-pin µMAX® and SO packages and operate over the -55°C to +125°C temperature range.
