BU9889GUL-W is a serial EEPROM with I2C BUS interface. It completely conforms to the world standard I2C BUS and can be controlled by two ports of serial clock (SCL) and serial data (SDA). It has a 1k words×8 bits architecture, suitable for 8kbit serial EEPROM. Other devices than EEPROM can be connected to the same port, saving microcontroller port. It is a single power source with an action range of 1.7~5.5V, most suitable for battery use. It operates at FAST MODE with a speed of 400kHz at 1.7~5.5V. The page write mode is useful for initial value write at factory shipment. It has auto erase and auto end function at data rewrite. The current consumption is low, with 0.5mA (Typ.) at write operation, 0.2mA (Typ.) at read operation, and 0.1µA (Typ.) at standby operation, all at 5V. It has a write mistake prevention function and write (write protect) function added at low voltage. It comes in a WLCSP6pin compact package. The data can be rewritten up to 100,000 times and kept for 40 years. It has a noise filter built in SCL / SDA terminal. The shipment data has all address FFh.
