The part includes an accurate programmable current source capable of driving loads up to 700mA from a 2.9V to 4.4V input. Low external parts count (two flying capacitors, one programming resistor and two bypass capacitors) makes the LTC3215 ideally suited for small, battery-powered applications. Built-in soft-start circuitry prevents excessive inrush cur- rent during start-up. High switching frequency enables the use of small external capacitors. LED current is pro- grammed with an external resistor. The LED is discon- nected from VIN during shutdown. An ultralow dropout current source maintains accurate LED current at very low IL

LINEAR Low Noise Regulated Charge Pump in 2 × 2 DFN Manual

LTC3204-3.3/LTC3204-5/LTC3204B-3.3/LTC3204B-5 are low noise, constant frequency (1.2MHz) switched capacitor voltage doublers. The LTC3204-3.3/LTC3204B-3.3 can produce a regulated output voltage of 3.3V from a minimum input voltage of 1.8V (2 alkaline cells) whereas the LTC3204-5/LTC3204B-5 can produce 5V from a minimum of 2.7V (Li-Ion battery) input. LTC3204-3.3/LTC3204-5 feature automatic Burst Mode® operation at light loads to maintain low supply current whereas LTC3204B-3.3/LTC3204B-5 feature constant frequency operation at any load. Built-in soft-start circuitry prevents excessive inrush current during start-up. Thermal shutdown and current-limit circuitry allow the parts to survive a continuous short-circuit from VOUT to GND. High switching frequency minimizes overall solution footprint by allowing the use of tiny ceramic capacitors. In shutdown, the load is disconnected from the input and the quiescent current is reduced to <1µA. The LTC3204-3.3/LTC3204-5/LTC3204B-3.3/LTC3204B-5 are available in a low profile (0.75mm) 6-lead 2mm × 2mm DFN package.

LINEAR LTC2753 Dual Current Output 12-/14-/16-Bit SoftSpan DACs with Parallel I/O Manual

The LTC2753 series is a family of dual 12-, 14-, and 16-bit multiplying parallel-input, current-output DACs. These DACs operate from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and are all guaranteed monotonic over temperature. The LTC2753A-16 provides 16-bit performance (±1LSB INL and DNL) over temperature without any adjustments. These SoftSpan™ DACs offer six output ranges—two unipolar and four bipolar—that can be programmed through the parallel interface, or pinstrapped for operation in a single range. The LTC2753 DACs use a bidirectional input/output parallel interface that allows readback of any on-chip register. A power-on reset circuit resets the DAC outputs to 0V when power is initially applied. A logic low on the CLR pin asyn- chronously clears the DACs to 0V in any output range. The parts are specifi ed over commercial and industrial temperature ranges.

LINEAR LTC1588/LTC1589/LTC1592 12-/14-/16-Bit SoftSpan DACs with Programmable Output Rang Manual

The LTC1588/LTC1589/LTC1592 are serial input 12-/14- /16-bit multiplying current output DACs that operates from a single 5V supply. These SoftSpanTM DACs can be software-programmed for either unipolar or bipolar mode through a 3-wire SPI interface. In either mode, the voltage output range can also be software-programmed. Two output ranges in unipolar mode and four output ranges in bipolar mode are available. INL and DNL are accurate to 1LSB over the industrial temperature range in both unipolar and bipolar modes. True 16-bit 4-quadrant multiplication is achieved with on-chip four quadrant multiplication resistors. The LTC1588/LTC1589/LTC1592 are available in a 16-lead SSOP package. These devices include an internal deglitcher circuit that reduces the glitch impulse to less than 2nV-s (typ). The asynchronous clear pin resets the LTC1588/LTC1589/ LTC1592 to 0V in unipolar or bipolar mode.

LINEAR LTC1411 Single Supply 14-Bit 2.5Msps ADC Manual

The LTC1411 is a 2.5Msps sampling 14-bit A/D converter in a 36-pin SSOP package, which typically dissipates only 195mW from a single 5V supply. This device comes complete with a high bandwidth sample-and-hold, a precision reference, programmable input ranges and an internally trimmed clock. The ADC can be powered down with either the Nap or Sleep mode for low power applications. The LTC1411 converts either differential or single-ended inputs and presents data in 2’s complement format. Maximum DC specs include ±2LSB INL and 14-bit no missing code over temperature. Outstanding dynamic performance includes 80dB S/(N + D) and 90dB THD at 100kHz input frequency. The LTC1411 has four programmable input ranges selected by two digital input pins, PGA0 and PGA1. This provides input spans of ±1.8V, ±1.27V, ±0.9V and ±0.64V. An out-of-the-range signal together with the D13 (MSB) will indicate whether a signal is over or under the ADC’s input range. A simple conversion start input and a data ready signal ease connections to FIFOs, DSPs and microprocessors.
