SFH 4730 and SFH 4740 are lead-free products and are RoHS compliant. SFH 4730 and SFH 4740 are both 850nm infrared LEDs with 3.6W and 3W optical output power respectively. SFH 4730 has a black frame to minimize scattered light while SFH 4740 has a white frame to achieve higher light output power. Both products have a 2.1 x 5.4 mm2 active chip area, a maximum current of 1A, a low thermal resistance of 2.8 K/W and a spectral emission at 850nm. SFH 4730 and SFH 4740 are suitable for a variety of applications including infrared illumination, surveillance systems, IR data transmission and driver assistance systems.
