TP8312 High Efficiency Synchronous Boost DC/DC Converter

TP8312 is a high-efficiency, fixed-frequency synchronous boost DC/DC converter. Low-voltage technology allows the regulator to start without output voltage overshoot under high surge current or low input voltage. The input voltage range of 0.65V to 4.2V makes TP8312 suitable for single-cell, two-cell or three-cell alkaline batteries, NiCd, NiMH, single-cell lithium-ion or lithium-polymer batteries. Current mode operation provides good response to power and load changes and has peak current limiting for the switching inductor. Internal loop compensation and protection circuits reduce external components. Anti-ringing circuit reduces EMI caused by discontinuous mode operation. The output voltage is set by a small external resistor divider.
