ST AVS08 handbook

The AVS08 kit is an automatic mains selector (110/220V AC) to be used in SMPS < 200 W. It consists of 2 devices: the Controller and the TRIAC. The Controller is optimized for low power consumption and high security triggering of the TRIAC. The TRIAC is specially designed for this application, with optimization between sensitivity and dynamic parameters to reduce supply resistor losses and provide excellent immunity against disturbances.
