FAIRCHILD FAN73833- Half-Bridge Gate-Drive IC handbook

Update: 29 September, 2023

The FAN73833 is a half-bridge gate-drive IC for driving MOSFETs and IGBTs, operating up to +600V. It features a floating channel for Bootstrap operation, with sourcing/sinking current driving capability of 350mA/650mA for each channel. It has an extended allowable negative VS swing to -9.8V for signal propagation at VDD=VBS=15V. It is compatible with 3.3V and 5V input logic. The outputs are in phase with input signals. It has built-in UVLO functions and a shoot-through prevention circuit. It also includes a built-in common-mode dv/dt noise canceling circuit and internal dead-time of 400ns. It is suitable for applications such as SMPS, motor drive inverters, fluorescent lamp ballasts, and HID ballasts.
