This article introduces a method for analyzing the odor of mineral water using solid phase microextraction (SPME) and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The samples were analyzed using multivariate analysis software (Mass Profiler Professional), and 26 components with statistically significant differences were selected. This method can extract components that are difficult to confirm through chromatogram comparison, making it useful for identifying the causes of odor.
