intersil X9118 handbook

The X9118 is a chip that integrates a single digitally controlled potentiometer (XDCP) and has low power consumption and dual power supply functions. It includes 1024 resistor tap points, and the position of the wiper can be controlled by the user through a 2-wire bus interface. The chip can be used as a three-terminal potentiometer or a two-terminal variable resistor in a wide range of applications such as control, parameter adjustment, and signal processing.
