The 24XX* family is Microchip's family of electrically erasable programmable read-only memories (EEPROMs) ranging in capacity from 128 bits to 512 kilobits. This series of devices support a 2-wire serial interface organized as x8 memory blocks. The low voltage design allows operation down to 1.8V (for 24AAXX devices), with typical standby and operating currents of 1 µA and 1 mA, respectively. Devices with a capacity of 1 kilobit and above have page write capability. Functional address lines allow up to 8 devices to be connected to the same bus.
