PS8821-1, -2 are optically coupled isolators containing a GaAlAs LED on the input side and a PIN photodiode and high-speed amplifier transistor on the output side on one chip. They feature a 40% reduction in mounting area, low power consumption, high isolation voltage, and high-speed response.
