The X9258 is a low noise/low power/2-wire bus/256 taps quad digital controlled potentiometers. It features four potentiometers in one package, 256 resistor taps/pot with 0.4% resolution, a 2-wire serial interface, 40Ω wiper resistance, four nonvolatile data registers for each pot, nonvolatile storage of wiper position, standby current less than 5µA, and power supplies ranging from VCC = 2.7V to 5.5V, V+ = 2.7V to 5.5V, and V- = -2.7V to -5.5V.
