SIEMENS PCOf automate WinAC Real Time Type (RTX) handbook

WinAC Realtime is a PC based automation product from Siemens. It runs on the real-time extension system provided by VenturComo for Windows NT 4.0. The WinAC Realtime control task can be independent of the Windows_NT operating system. When the NT system fails, WinAC Realtime can continue to run or choose to shut down safely. WinAC Realtime uses Step_7 for configuration and programming, and also supports S7_Charts (flow chart) programming, making it easier to use Siemens PC-based control. WinAC Realtime connects field I/O via Profibus DP, with a maximum communication speed of 12M. WinAC Realtime optimizes the Profibus_DP driver to ensure system determinism in high-speed control tasks.
